my role
What I Do.
With skillful space planning I will enhance your existing floor plan, bring forward new ideas and design possibilities, and expertly solve any spatial problems that you might have.
My ultimate goal is to help clients create functional yet beautiful spaces. My focus foremost is on spatial design—designing floor plans to optimise space for renovations, additions and new builds. I also specialise in kitchens, bathrooms and everything in between.
I can work collaboratively from start to finish with you and your builder to ensure the end result is just as you envisioned.

I know how daunting renovating can feel, but with my help we can create unique, thoughtful spaces which align with your brief and inspire for years to come.

01. Floor Plan Design.
First and foremost is the design and shaping of floor plans for renovations and additions.

The smallest details can make or break a space.
I pride myself on designing well thought out spaces with all details considered.
For residential, this means taking the time to understand the home owners needs and their lifestyle. For commercial, the focus is on the use of the space, staff and customer needs and daily tasks.

My design scope includes custom cabinetry design, kitchen joinery, wardrobes etc.
02. Problem Solving.
Most clients come to me because they have a design brief that is not so easily solved or they have a space that presents some complications, luckily I love a challenge!
Starting with conceptual planning my focus is to provide viable spatial design solutions, advise which options will work best, and keep your goals at the forefront of all design decisions.
The developed design is a culmination of problem solving and refinement to produce a space that exceeds the design brief.
03. 3D Visualisation.
Move forward with your renovation with confidence.

The majority of people struggle to visualise a space from a 2D plan. I create 3D rendered images, based on your preferred interior style, to give an accurate sense of what it will look and feel like to move around and work within the space.

The amount of information provided in a 3D render vs 2D floor plan is unparalleled. Having the opportunity to make sure all details are perfect before construction starts can subsequently save valuable time and money further down the track.
04. Design Specification
The fine-tuning of small architectural details is where a project truly comes alive and begins to take shape.

Designed details that have been included in the floor plans, such as built in cabinetry, custom kitchen joinery or wardrobes, can be documented to a high level of detail through technical drawing and schedules to pass on to any relevant trades, aiding the tender and construction process.
Other optional design specifications can include lighting design, hardware selections, floor finishes, material selection etc.
05. Floor Plan Reviews
Get the best outcome for your new build, renovation or addition!

This service is designed to help anyone who has had a floor plan drawn up by an architect or draughtsperson and would like a fresh set of eyes to check over the design and make any suggestions on how to improve the overall layout or point out any potential challenges.
Designing and building your dream home isn’t only a huge financial investment, but an emotional one as well. Unfortunately all too often problems go unrecognised or missed on a 2D floor plan, but become glaringly obvious once construction has commenced! Let me use my unique skills in interior architecture and spatial planning to help you foresee potential challenges and offer solutions while the project is still on paper to avoid unexpected costs, potential tear-outs, rebuilds, and regrets.

In addition, any space can be drawn up in 3D to help you accurately and clearly visualise the space in your preferred interior style.
